This post is pretty near and dear to my heart because it was a photo shoot for some of my favourite people in the whole world – my family.

Thanksgiving is one of the only holidays where we always get together at my parents’ farm. Their property is always lovely but the rich fall colours just make it come alive! So I jumped at the chance to gather us all up and take family pictures for the first time ever! There are so many things I’m thankful for (if I were to list them all it would go on for a while) but near the top of that list would be these wonderful people.

Now let me put in the disclaimer that family photos are always a bit more complicated especially with extended family. But shooting pictures of your OWN family, well that kicks the stress up just a few notches. Eeek.  Let’s just say this will have to do for a few years!
